感恩大地（中英文对照）

我们出生的时候
只有一种方式
而我们怎样敲开死亡之门
却千差万别
当我们谈到土地
无论是哪一个种族
都会在自己的灵魂中
找到父亲和母亲的影子
是大地赐予了我们生命
让人类的子孙
在她永恒的摇篮中繁衍生息
是大地给了我们语言
让我们的诗歌
传遍了这个古老而又年轻的世界
当我们仰望璀璨的星空
躺在大地的胸膛
那时我们的思绪
会随着秋天的风儿
飞到很远很远的地方

大地啊，不知道这是为什么？
往往在这样的时刻
我的内心充满着从未有过的不安
人的一生都在向大自然索取
而我们的奉献更是微不足道
我想到大海退潮的盐碱之地
有一种冬枣树傲然而生
尽管土地是如此的贫瘠
但它的果实却压断了枝头
这是对大地养育之恩的回报
人类啊，当我们走过它们的身旁
请举手向它们致以深深的敬意！

Grateful  to The  Land

We were born
in the same way
But we are with different ways
to knock open the door of death
When speaking of the land
we all can find the figures of father and mother
in our soul
No matter which race you are of
The land gives us life
and let the children and grandchildren of human being
live and multiply in her cradle
The land gives us languages
and let our poems
spread throughout the young and old world
When we lie on the chest of the land
looking up at the starlit sky
Our mind will fly far away
with the autumn wind

O, Land ! I don’t know why it is so !
At such a moment
I often feel rather worried
We ask for a lot from Nature all our life
but give little to Nature
I have thought of a stretch of saline-alkali land
where snow-jujube trees grow full of vitality
That land is so poor
but grows fruits hanging in clusters
This is a repayment for the land feeding us up
O, mankind ! Please wave to give your regards to them
when passing by their sides
