何玉，笔名：何威廉，男，八十年代分别毕业于西南政法大学法律系和中国政法大学研究生院。八十年代末在北京中央某国家机关工作。九十年代先后留学德国海德堡大学、英国剑桥大学和美国哈佛大学。大学和研究生阶段曾在西南政法大学学报、北京大学《国外法学》和中国社会科学院《法学译丛》等著名期刊发表多篇论文和译作。著有古体诗词几十首。
七律•海上丝绸之路
驼铃古道追星月，
云顶犹闻汉乐声。
鹦绝五颜朱雀喜，
鹫灵三禅湿婆惊。
狮山神椟萦天阙，
日惹浮屠指九瀛。
莫叹海疆丝路长，
函关紫气万隆城。
Seven-words Poem Maritime Silk Road
In the moonlight I have heard the camel bells on the old Silk Road,
Through the windows of Malaysian Genting snatches of Han melodies.
Vermilion bird was joyful, seeing the five-colored parakeet from Malacca,
Chinese bonze chanting on Grdhrakuta pleasantly surprised Hindu deities.
High reputation of Gedung Batu Temple outlives the vicissitudes of time,
Yogyakarta pagoda is anxiously awaiting the return of somebodies.
If only you have got a bosom friend afar there is meaning in your life.
The purple clouds come from the east, bringing the sovereign remedies.
七律•剑桥往事
叹息桥头参味赏，
青凫花蕾短篙撑。
神宫曲籁偏钟磬，
缃帙藤红尽九楹。
韵刻圭碑留左衽，
树栽苹果引经生。
康河柳色今依在，
王后残阳别样情。
Seven-words Poem Once Upon a Time in Cambridge
Sigh bridge splits the afterglow into ribbons,tattered and shot,
A boat upstream towards the grass with sumptuous greenery.
St.Mary's Cathedral moves people vertically and horizontally,
I learn more about chorister in King's College Choir beyond library.
Beside the tablet my heart is strained out at the pin-point of quill,
While apples fall on the Front Quad of Trinity making a discovery.
Golden willows by the riverside reflect on the shimmering waves,
Queen's College in the sunset, I find you a mystery inside a mystery.

妙染卢浮，
神雕断臂，
镇宫三宝钦倾。
几朝屏幅，
晖映画堂盈。
日出纱笼塞纳，
流光倏、
印象浑成。

圣院禁钟鸣。

伊莲丽唱，

Courtyard Full of Fragrance Impressions of Paris
Down the long and painted Louvre hall,
Mother of Love is transfixed to stone,
Precious treasure of the triple gem is breathing on.
The exquisite works of art,
Time's brutal hand could not mar.
The ascending sun with its reflection on Seine,
At the break of morn,
Highlights archaize caiques in a row.
A Gallic Oppidum,
Marvelous stones pile cologne cathedral,
Notre dame's big bell shatters silence.
On the Top of Eiffell at dusk,
Surrounded by stars in every sense,
Champs Elysees is all lighted up.
Dazzled mine eyes,
There is someone's glance, fraternal and sad.
Maurice Ravel goes the big finale,
Gazing at the triumphal archway,
People construe from periodic motifs.
Grumbling Airs de Touen-houang,
Mona Lisa's smile,
Still remain enigmas as yet.

白鸥悠婉，
礁群隐约，
倚栏波谷溟瀛。
濛水沐风，
冲浪大舶，
北欧万里秋清。
落日野山青，
眷鸟船亭疏，
碧宇腾晶。
舷笛声中，
轻吟一曲引潮升。
英魂瓦萨飘萦，
旆旌湍怒坠，
折戟哀茕。
寥寂空帷，
长烟落幕，
唯闻铁骑残兵。
海霸峡湾崩，
沙俄熊蹄疾，
斗转参横。
琥珀金杯长满，
弦乐酒难停。
Watching the Tidal Bore Baltic Sea
Seagulls are wheeling above,
Specks of rock are faint in a row,
Wave being bigger and trough being deeper when I bow.
Dripping wet from the spray,
Cruiser cleaves through the waves in array,
Magnificant Nordic scenery on a fall day.
The sunset tints the hills along the shore,
Water birds stand on the buttock,
In the evening glow of far away horizon.
The steam whistle is blowing,
With the sea month serenade the tides are playing.
The Vasa, symbols of power and courage,
Sank at the start of her maiden voyage,
With halberds defeat and breakage.
The wreckage, only the lonely winding,
Success or failure once your back is turning.
Heroes here is scoured away while surging.
After the demise of Charles XII on a hillock,
Peter the Great was once as proud as a peacock,
Though, one can not put back the clock.
Amber cups are brimmed with nectar,
In a cheerful mood few understand in particular.

青冥澄净，
晶莹截断悬流。
仙藻法蓝，
湖胶绝壁，
白霓横卧荒陬。
半岛拱门愁。
冻雷惊失弛，
峰裂棱柔。
洞扩岩虚，
烟霞明灭镂冰浮。
琼琚林薮峦丘。
叹孤茕万世，
缥缈灵湫。
穿越隙光，
惊残献梦，
巨鹰红鹳寻幽。
奇褶玉间留。
千里潭面皱，
独有千秋。
人类几多往事，
天地寄蜉蝣。
Watching the Tidal Bore Moreno Glacier
Against the glittering loch,
And the sky of azure blue,
Moreno appears with its multiform ray.
Crystalline veils adorn the cliffs,
The mysterious lake of emerald hue,
Through meadows of gleaming frost.
An ice corridor shifts and moans.
With an abrupt, roaring explosion,
Calved segments plummet to the surface.
Where the ice-floes bellowing run,
Waves and splashes follow every birth.
Their striking glistening whites.
The exotic pinnacles live and speak,
More than humankind can learn.
From the yawning chasm,
I can see the vision of the cold ghost,
Argentavis and Flamingo keep their tryst.
The enamel visage is serene.
The mirror with rippling and sparkling,
With ancient native legend.
In the world of mortals coming from,
Who knows what is hidden in glacier's soul.
Mr. He Yu (under the pseudonym of William He) was graduated from two of the most prestigious law schools in China respectively in the 1980s. He had studied in Heidelberg and Cambridge. He earned his LL.B and Juris Doctor (JD) equivalent degrees and graduated from a Post-JD Program at Harvard University in the 1990s. Mr. He’s background with MCC8 Capital has been as the managing director since 2011 to date. He was the Chairman of Idaho CuMo Mining Corporation. He is a partner in charge of Asia operations for a leading mining investment bank. He has already written dozens of bilingual Chinese classical poems and lyrics.
