Who has ever seen the eyes of autumn
and how many unknown mysteries are latent in its transparency
Time seems to be asleep
In the corner eyes ere unable to reach
only the figures of flying birds like lightning
skim through the perpetual loneliness
The eyes of autumn are pure
its light floats on reality
and only the boat in dreams
can sail quietly towards its limitless shore
The eyes of qutumn are intelligent and aerial
Though a bit of drunkenness climbs over the bamboo wall
the fallen leaves listen attentively
to the final fade-away of this world
